6 oz can water pack tuna, drained
1 egg
4 grape tomatoes, chopped (garnish)
Mix tuna and egg in a small bowl. Form into 2 patties. Coat a nonstick skillet or griddle with cooking spray on medium heat.
Add patties and cook about 2 minutes on each side until cooked through.
When my tuna cakes are done I place them on a pretty plate with 3 tablespoons of cheese sauce on top and browned grape tomatoes. I love this meal and eat it all the time to lose big!

Bernadette’s Cheese Sauce
Makes 24 tablespoons
4 oz low fat cream cheese
4 oz sharp Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
fresh black pepper to taste
Blend cheeses together in a small nonstick saucepan. Heat on low to melt cheeses and stir constantly to prevent burning. Stir in water, cilantro and spices until well blended. Sauce will thicken as it cools and be yummy!
