I have been a long time fan of Low Carb diet plans. I lost my original weight on another low carb plan (Atkins) and hit a stubborn stall for months.
I stayed at the same weight for almost a year.
After a long stay in a out of town hospital with my son, I gained over 25 pounds back. On 6/16/07, I weighed 192.5 and realized that I was well on my way back to the 200's.
I got back to the Kimkins board and got serious about my weight loss. In 3 short months I lost 40 pounds and met my mini goal.
I have given up my size 22 jeans and now am wearing size 10's on my way to 8's.
Getting serious with Kimkins helped me finally break my year long yo-yo stall and meet my mini goal. For me, the strict food planned helped me with my emotional eating habits.
I have spent this time working on new eating habits to deal with the stress of long hospital stays and the worry of medical issues with my son. I now work on me controlling food instead of it controlling me.
