My original goal weight was 140 pounds which I hit within 2 1/2 months on the Kimkins plan. Recently I came back with an adjusted goal weight of 130 pounds.
When I started Kimkins I was wearing US size 16's, now wearing size 10's and even some 8's!
I am a average mother of 3, ages 7, 10 and 13. I woke up when I one day realized I had hit 170 pounds! I had always weighed 120 - 125, even after having my children.
It was time to do something about it. I didn't have any energy, gave up on doing the things I once loved. Had a horse sitting out in the pasture that I hadn't ridden in over 6 months! It seemed like I lived on coffee, I would have 6-8 cups just to make it through the day.
I searched all over the web and found Kimkins.
I jumped in feet first and started right on the Kimkins plan. I had never dieted or changed my way of eating before and wasn't sure if I would be able to stick with it. The first 2 or 3 days were bad. I seemed to be hungry all the time, then I got the headache of the century. I almost gave up, I couldn't deal with being hungry, tired and having my head hurt like it did.
Then when I woke up on day 4 I felt energized! I had energy to spare and went the entire day on ONE cup of coffee.
The headache was gone and best of all, I wasn't hungry. I started melting off the pounds almost instantly. It wasn't unusual for me to wake up 1, 2 or even 3 pounds lighter!
