I'm so excited - I think I'm melting. Down 11.5 pounds since starting on Saturday.

I'm not hungry and I've got energy to spare woopie! I haven't had energy in so long I forgot what it felt like.

I'm enjoying reading the posts and seeing how well everyone else is doing. It gives me incentive to stay on track - I CAN get this done!

I can really sympathize with Amy W. and Lynn H. I was very successful with Kimkins last summer. Lost over 30 pounds. Then life blew up and I found myself cooking for 3 gigantic teenagers.

So I ate. Then I had mega trouble getting back on program. I have started reading the testimonials and find them to be a great help.

I have lost 6.5 in the last 5 days. I will read testimonials every morning, and maybe all day.

Thanks Kim. This is great.

I AM GOING BACK TO LOUISIANA THIS WEEKEND. NOT REALLY SCARED THIS TIME. AFTER THE SUCCESS LAST TIME, I'M A LITTLE MOTIVATED!

I THINK I HAVE LOST LIKE 10 LBS SINCE I WAS THERE LAST. I LOVE TO SEE THERE REACTIONS WHEN I TELL THEM HOW MUCH I HAVE LOST AND IN HOW LONG!!!

SOMEBODY FIND KIMMER AND GIVE HER A BIG VIRTUAL KISS FOR ME!

STARTED KIMKINS JANUARY 11, 2008 @ 278 LBS!
THE VERY FIRST DAY OF THE REST OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!

I'm with everyone -- this is the only thing that has worked for me as well. I also side tracked, tried some new diets, gained most of the weight back, got discouraged, and then finally said, 'enough of this already'.

So I'm back too, just this week and have already lost 6 lbs in 3 days! I'm so thankful for this site and all the support.

I lost thirty pounds on Kimkins last year but, as with any diet, once I lost the weight I went back to my old eating habits and the weight went back on and then some! This time I plan to follow Kimkins the way it was designed and once the weight is off, I plan to follow maintenance.

I have PCOS and have struggled with my weight for years now. I started Kimkins last summer and did great. It is the ONLY thing that has truly worked for me.

Unfortunately, starting back to college full time-I got off Kimkins. But I'm back - with a serious commitment this time.

I have already started walking or riding my bike daily and that feels great I am excited about seeing the weight fall off again, but most importantly I am excited about feeling good. Watch out summer here I come!

I currently weigh 170 and today is my first day back. Watch for the updates!

Overheard on a forum discussion about what keeps Kimkins members motivated:

The biggest thing that kept me motivated and still does is all of the wonderful people here! Whether it is a pep talk or a hard look at my life and suggestions to change the negative for a positive, all of it helps.

This is not some diet thread that takes my money and emails me with skinny mini's telling me "to work out and take this pill and I can eat whatever I want."

This is real, these men and women are just like me. We both want and give each other honesty, faith and compassion.

I honestly do not think I could have made it this far without knowing that people count on me to do this and that I count on them as well.
