Hi everybody!

I started Kimkins back in June and lost 50 pounds in 3 1/2 months (halfway to my goal). Overall, it was very easy! Then, strayed away (but did not go crazy) since October. I just haven't been able to get motivated to loose the other 50. During my 'time off' I regained only 5 pounds and that gives me much hope for long term maintenence. As of today, I'm back on track with a buddy of mine who has similar weight loss goals. I know if I can do another 3-3/12 months, I'll be where I want to be and can stop thinking about it!

On Kimkins I have so much more energy and my mood is so much more even keel. That's almost better than loosing the unwanted pounds (note I said almost :-)).

I've never had much success posting and getting involved with online challenges/chats/forums. I'm a bit computer illiterate. I hope to do better at really using the site, to give and receive the support we all need to get and keep the weight off.

Glad to be back in it!

Amy

I started off going to a health clinic about 4 years ago. Lost 50 pounds with the help of drugs. Then I thought to myself how was I going to do this without drugs to help. Quit going to the clinic and slowly I've gained about half of the weight back.

I started KE [Kimmer Experiment] 8 days ago and am down 12 pounds. This does take some will power and I do think about cheating but something inside me wont let me cheat. I am a sweet eater that is my biggest problem. But KE has taken that away.

My goal is 18 more pounds before my daughters wedding June 21. Hoping to lose more. Just reading other peoples comments and struggles makes you feel at home here. Youre not alone. We all struggle with weight or we wouldnt be looking for something that works.

I'm with everyone -- this is the only thing that has worked for me as well.

I also side tracked, tried some new diets, gained most of the weight back, got discouraged, and then finally said, 'enough of this already'.

So I'm back too, just this week and have already lost 6 lbs in 3 days! I'm so thankful for this site and all the support.

Hello Kimmer,

I just wanted you to know that I had a physical the other day and had lab work done. I was kind of hoping the doctor would tell me to stop eating lowcarb that it wasn't healthy for me (just because I have been craving junk food). Anyways my cholesterol, HDL, LDL, Triglycerides and glucose are all normal. Isnt that great.

Thanks for Kimkins.

[Kim, thanks for the note and CONGRATS!]

After everything else, I've decided to come back to Kimkins. I started last June and didn't stick with it although I was losing weight and receiving compliments. This time I'm serious, I am not ready for another summer to pass me by. My goal is to get under 200 lbs. Be on the watchout for more of my testimonials. My current weight is 272, and today is my first day.

Shalom! to the people are beginning Kimkins today (again) as I am, please be encouraged, today is an excellent day to begin because it is the Biblical New Year! Nisan 1, is the first day on the first month of the Jewish Biblical calendar, ie, the Lord's calendar, so we can do it,! Summer is almost here and we will make it, be encouraged, the best is yet to come! Shalom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I started last year and did great - lost almost 30 pounds - I then just quit - I let the stress of my job and life get to me.

During the time I was on the program, I told a friend about it who got started and has lost 60 pounds . Now, I am starting over - I gained all my weight back , plus some so I am starting at a new point. BUT, I have a new job (after 17 years at the other one) and a new outlook.

I am starting today.

Hello Everyone.

I joined KimKin on Jan. 2nd, 2008. Couldn't get the courage to start until March 31, 2008. It is now day 5 and I've lost 7.5 pounds.Biggrin I feel like a heel because if I started when I joined most likely I could have been half way to my weight goal by now. Sad I guess better late then never in my case.Smile

Hello Everyone!

I am re starting Kimkins and plan to get to goal this time. I love this diet! And another thing is that I am never hungry while on it. I have tried several other big name diets but didn't have the results I have with Kimkins
