Today I'm starting over - I gained back the thirty pounds I lost last year BECAUSE I wasn't willing to change my way of eating - NOW I AM!

My weight is 203 pounds and I hope to lose 70 pounds on this plan. Just know that the KIMKINS way of eating WORKS.

[Patricia, welcome back! You know it works and we'll help -- check out the "Old Timers" challenge!]

I'm starting over today after quitting last year. Guess I wasn't 100% into it but I'm just so sick of being fat, like really fat. My friend at work is doing it with me and we want to lose this weight by Christmas. I have 63 and she has 89. Wish me and us luck!

I also bought Womans Day magazine and read about the Kimkim plan last summer. I was sure it wouldn't work becuase nothing else did but I spent $1.75 for the magazine anyway and kept reading. It all made sense and I decided to try and if it didn't work so what. I lost 8lbs the first week and felt really good about myself. Then I joined Kimkim and met some really nice girls, we are all loosing together. I mess up sometimes and get back on plan. So far I have lost 69 pounds and my church devotion group is proud of me. Thanks to every body who has helped!

Kimmer -

Thank you for this wonderful Plan and support board!!! It was last year this time, when I came home from this same trip, that I started on Monday June 18th!!!

I think I joined a week before but didn't start until I got back, but I read that Magazine [Woman's World 6/5/07] everyday while I was gone and got so motivated and I haven't looked back!!!

Well I have only been back on the program for about a month. This past week I took my daughter to the beach on vacation. I can honestly say I COMPLETELY STAYED ON MY PROGRAM.

I bought a chicken and ate off that, I ate salads, drank tons of water and diet soda and put my dannon low carb [yogurt] in the freezer and ate it like ice cream.

I lost while I was on vacation and I feel really good inside. If I can do this anyone can.

Best wishes friends!

I bought the Woman's World magazine in June of 2007. I started the program on June 30 and within the first two weeks, I lost 20 pounds. I started at 240 pounds. As of this a.m. June 6/08 I weigh 139 pounds.

I was doing strict k/e [Kimmer Experiment] for about two months and slowly added back in fruit and veggies and dairy. I never became a member, but read the articles that were free.

I have a cheat meal every three-four days and for the first time in my life, I can wear a size 7. A FREAKIN 7!!! I almost died when I saw the number.

I refer everyone to this site when they ask me how I lost the weight. I still don't eat sugar, flour or anything processed and I feel amazing.

I am getting married July 19/08 and I look "HOT" in my dress. Thank you everyone!

Hi everyone,

Today is my 10th day on Kimkins. (I must confess that I was off program last Saturday -f amily get together with poor planning ahead on my part). But I did get back in gear on Sunday and have been "good" ever since.

So far I have lost 5.5 lbs, which for me is great. I have never been a fast loser, no matter which weight loss plan I have followed. I am hanging in there and am hoping that others (like me) who are not fast losers will stay focused, encouraged, and optimistic (as I am).

I am in in it for the long haul (70.3 more pounds to go).

One day at a time. Smile

Wow, I knew this would work, but unfortunately it took me nearly a year to get started! I started on Monday and as of this morning I'm down a total of 6 lbs. That's 6 lbs in 4 days following the basic Kimkins plan.

Oh yeah, I had a big cheat meal (pizza) during this time too! I can only imagine how much I can lose on K/E with no cheats! This is great.

If you're on the fence about this, I say join and do it. It's OK if you're not perfect all the time - no one is, but if you stick with it and get past the first couple of days, it gets easier.

I just started yesterday.

My weight was 397.80. When I weighed myself this morning My weight was 386.70. I weighed myself hours later and it was 393. I have to tell myself to weigh only once a day or even less.

I joined last year but couldn't motivate myself. Now I'm ready and really need support! I know this is going to work. I started with the K/E program.

Wish me luck.

[Pam, fantastic!!! You CAN do this! Stop by the Pinky Swear challenge and say "hi". I'm proud of you!]
