- When the 250 lb person drops to 1500 calories a day, that's a 1000 calorie deficit and loss is faster
- When the 150 lb person drops to 1200 calories a day, that's a 300 calorie deficit and loss is slower
If we rely on the thermogenic effect of low carb (not medium carbs) from a weight loss plan like Kimkins, loss will speed up. But cheats of any kind will set us back to square one and nullify the thermogenics. Not to mention high calorie low carb snacks will slow us down even more.
