4 portabella mushroom caps
4 slices low fat spicy jack cheese
5 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon taco seasoning
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
In a small bowl mix together soy sauce, water, taco seasoning, garlic powder, pepper and salt.
In a shallow pan place mushroom caps smooth side down. Brush steak sauce mixture on gill side of mushroom caps. Let sit 15 minutes.
Preheat indoor or outdoor grill to medium high. Cook mushrooms 5-6 minutes per side or until tender. Brush with leftover marinade while cooking. Add 1 slice of cheese to each cap the last 2 minutes of cooking to melt.
Serve on Kimkins Low Carb Rolls with condiments, grilled onion, baby greens and tomato if desired.
